Birthday with The Governor

Eight-year-old Reeanna Ramirez got to spend her birthday with the Governor last Friday, Dec. 5.

Her uncle is Fayette County Republican Party Chariman Michael Schlabach. Schlabach and his wife Miranda got an invitation to Governor Greg Abbott’s annual Christmas Party at the Governor’s Mansion in Austin. Schlabach arranged for Reeanna to attend. So last Friday, he picked up his neice a little early from Sacred Heart Catholic School in La Grange, where Reeanna is a second grader.

They attended the exclusive party, where Reeanna got to meet Governor Abbott, and he wished her a happy birthday.

“She will treasure this her whole life,” Schlabach said.
