Ammannsville Hosts 134th Annual Church Feast

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ammannsville celebrated its 134th Annual Church Feast on Sunday, June 16. Pictured above are Mark Halata and Texavia performing under the pecan trees.

The picnic committee hadn’t yet counted all of the dinner plates they sold Sunday, but Kevin Kana, one of the organizers, said they usually sell between 2,700 and 2,800 plates, and he said this year’s crowd appeared to be about average.
