Resale Shop Coming

Redeemed and Restored Ministry, a 501(c)3 organization, will relocate its Christian resale shop from Sealy to the Sarrazin building on the square. The move is scheduled for the end of September, with the shop expected to be fully operational by October. The 4,000-square-foot space will be filled with clothing, toys, books, household items and much more. Plans aren’t finalized for the upstairs area.

“It was a God thing,” stated Jennifer Sutherland, owner of the ministry and Founder and President of the 501(c)3. “We live in New Ulm and my kids go to Fayetteville ISD. We love the school. I saw the ‘For Lease’ sign on the building and couldn’t believe it when I discovered it was being listed by the Baluseks. I’m also a real estate agent and worked under Lori at one time. She’s seen us grow and flourish in Sealy, has welcomed us and been an amazing supporter. We just signed the lease last week.”

“We’re excited to become a part of this community,” stated Sutherland. “I just became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, or LCDC. We’re hoping to offer free counseling services also, but now we refer them out. I have a huge passion for this.” The mission statement of the ministry reinforces that passion: “Be the hands and feet of Christ to the community around us.” Redeemed and Restored Ministry is nondenominational.
