Rededication To One Nation Under God
To the editor:
This past Sunday, May 17, 2026 was proclaimed the “Rededication of America Back To God” by President Donald J. Trump. Hallelujah, Amen. Finally, we have a President who has recognized that for 25 years the spiritual realm of America was handed over to demonic spirits when George W. Bush spoke after September 11, 2001 that Islam is a religion of peace. After seeing over 3,000 American citizens killed in one day, seeing them jumping from high rise buildings- fathers, mothers, sons, daughters escaping fire that trapped them. I remember almost 300 instant single pregnant wives-their husbands murdered by terrorists, lining up for a photo. This moment is seared in our minds and our spirits will never forget the evil that happened that day and continues to thrive to this day in Texas and America. When I heard President George W. Bush say Islam was a ‘religion’ of peace and call himself a Christian; and see an Austin TV pastor had the local Imam in his service telling Christians to be peaceful with Islam. Reading John, chapter 10 about The Good Shepherd, it is easy to discern good from evil anytime. John 10:10-11, Jesus (The Door to Salvation) tells the people, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Wisdom is only from God. As a born again Christian, with The Holy Spirit alive within us, we discern right from wrong for every decision we make. When we decide to turn from our personal or national iniquity/sinful ways, it is a struggle against hell but it frees us to true liberty and justice. Only through God can this be accomplished. God does not make us do this, we choose Him and His life. Islam and other ‘ism’s’are about submission to their god(s) and you must follow or die to their kingdom.
Thankfully,PresidentDonald J. Trump is our President for this 250th Anniversary of our Declaration of Independence but more importantly, to bring us back to One Nation Under God before the celebration. On March 16, 1776, the Continental Congress declared a national day of fasting and prayer to take place on May 17 across all the colonies. These men of faith knew all was lost without God’s hand of protection. May 17, 1776 was to be “a day of humiliation, fasting and prayer; that we may, with united hearts, confess and bewail our manifold sins and transgressions, and, by a sincere repentance an amendment of life, appease his righteous displeasure, and, through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, obtain his pardon and forgiveness; humbly imploring his assistance to frustrate the cruel purposes of our unnatural enemies.” They called on “the God of Armies” to fortify soldiers and protect them in the day of battle with victory. The conclusion of the proclamation was to ask God to “bless all his people in these colonies with health and plenty” and with “a spirit of incorruptible patriotism and of pure undefiled religion.” Clearly, these were men who loved the new country waiting to be born and they loved Christ.
President Trump repeatedly says America cannot celebrate our 250th birthday as a nation without publicly acknowledging God’s role in our founding and the necessity of His blessing in these dangerous times. There was an all day celebration on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Citizens who couldn’t go should consider gathering their family and friends together for a day/meal of reading the Proclamation and prayer. Do something that will break the spiritual evil forces over America and return us to the prayer by Robert Hunt on April 29, 1607. Decree this prayer with your family and friends. Consider having communion together at church or home. Darkness cannot put out light. Light (God) has won. Christians can change the course of America in a few short months- 2 Chronicles 7:14. Let’s roll.
God Bless America, Texas and Fayette County.
