21 in a Row for Lady Leps

Make it 21 wins in a row now for the No. 1-ranked La Grange softball team. The Lady Leps two most recent additions to that streak came in rapid succession as the La Grange girls downed Yoakum  5-1 on the road Tuesday in their district opener and then beat Caldwell 11-0 at home Wednesday afternoon

Leps Medal at Cuero Tennis Tournament

The La Grange varsity tennis team competed at the Cuero Tennis Tournament last week. The team of Audrey Cernoch/Kelly Boening placed first in girls’ doubles, Shelby Weyand/Macy Heine placed second in girls’ doubles, Alyssa Wich placed second in girls singles, and Anthony Pechal/Avery Behrens placed third in boys’ doubles. Leps Split Four Games at Home Baseball Tournament

Mother Nature put a literal damper on La Grange’s final game of their home tournament Saturday, shortening the third place game to just four innings before mist that had fallen all night turned into a full-blown downpour. Caldwell beat La Grange 7-4 in that game.

Hollywood’s Here

Lights, camera, action. A movie crew was in La Grange last week, along with a major movie star – Josh Duhamel. The movie “Lost in the Sun” is being directed by Trey Nelson. This is a “dark road movie” said line producer, Dominic Cancilla, who chatted with the Record Friday

game performance by Supak, the La Grange boys baseball team ran their win streak to five games with a 2-1 victory

Cold weather didn’t stop the La Grange girls and boys soccer team from celebrating Parents Night Tuesday evening.
Although both teams lost their games, they didn’t give up without a fight. The La Grange girls soccer team started the night with a 4-0 loss against Cedar Creek

Leps Win Four in a Row to Win Yoakum Tourney Title

After starting the season 0-2, the defending state champion La Grange baseball team has bounced back in a big way. The Leps won four straight games to win the Yoakum Tournament title over the weekend. Dalton Burton, Rustin Heger and Adam Robinson earned all-tournament honors for the Leps, and La Grange also won the tournament’s “Team Hustle” award as voted on by the coaches and umps at the event.

Lady Leps Sweep Six Games to Claim A&M Consolidated Tourney Title

It’s now an 18-game win streak for the No. 1-ranked La Grange softball team as the Lady Leps swept through the  competition in six games over the weekend to win the A&M Consolidated Tournament. The Lady Leps (18-1) won four games easily, but also had to win a pair of one-run games against Little Cypress-Mauriceville and Azle to claim the title
