Lady Leps Can’t Complete Comeback

It was nearly a memorable comeback. But in the end, the furious rally the La Grange girls basketball team put on in the fourth quarter Friday gets chalked up as a moral victory, not a district one. Smithville held on to beat the Lady Leps 46-39, but not before La Grange rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to  twice cut the Lady Tigers’ lead to just two points.
