Leps Blast Yoakum 42-17

YOAKUM – Facing a brutal non-district schedule, it was the Leps that brutalized the opposition. In six consecutive non-district
games against six teams that made the playoffs last year (including four that are in a larger classification) the Leps have
passed every test in dominating fashion.

Volleyball Roundup

The La Grange Lady Leps volleyball team improved to 27-9 overall and 3-0 in district with a sweep of Smithville Friday.
The Lady Leps host Navasota Tuesday before playing at Bellville Friday. Tuesday’s home varsity match will begin about 7

Lady Diamonds are Runner-Ups

The Lady Diamonds 8-under select team captured second place in the Back to School Bash in Weimar recently. Team members are: Avery Marshall, Rylie Dyer, Brooklyn Jeager, Marisa Rohde, Madison Fritz, Hailey Cooper, Campbell Youens,

Leps Blast the Billies 34-7

Halfway through the regular  season, and the La Grange football team shows no signs of slowing down. In front of a huge homecoming night crowd, the undefeated Leps blasted Fredericksburg 34-7 Friday to improve to 5-0 this season. La Grange sophomore J.K. Dobbins scored touchdowns in just about every way possible Friday, running for a score, catching a touchdown pass from Aaron Janda and later throwing a touchdown pass

What a week it turned out to be for the Lady Leps volleyball team. The La Grange girls followed up their sweep last Tuesday over state-ranked Caldwell with a thrilling come-from-behind victory over another state-ranked foe Friday.

Lady Leps Open District by Knocking Off a Top 10 Foe

The La Grange Lady Leps picked the perfect time to play one of their best matches of the year. In the district opener for both teams Tuesday in La Grange, the Lady Leps shocked the No. 8-ranked team in the state, Caldwell, by sweeping the Lady Jackets 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.

Fredericksburg Presents Challenge; Horns & Dogs Off

It’s a battle for German pride as two of the more historic German settlements in Texas battle for bragging rights on the football field this Friday as the Leps host Fredericksburg in a homecoming contest at Leopard Stadium. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned before the game.

Shorthorns Still Looking for First Win

The Schulenburg football team continues to look for its first win of the season after Friday’s 61-14 loss at East Bernard. 
Schulenburg (0-4) could get little going on the ground against East Bernard, but among the bright spots for the Shorthorns was the passing game, which accounted for 134 of their 152 total yards. East Bernard improved to 3-1 with the win.

Hutchison Scores 4 TDs as LG Blasts the Taylor Ducks 42-22

TAYLOR – Through the first three games this season, La Grange senior Bralon Hutchison was a star on defense  and special teams for the Leps, while taking a little quieter offensive role. But Friday, Hutchison showed once again just what a dangerous offensive weapon he is as he ran for 254 yards and scored four touchdowns as the Leps stayed undefeated with a 42-22 victory at Taylor
