Leps Travel to Lockhart for Final Scrimmage

The La Grange Leopards will get their final tune-up for the 2015 season as they travel to Lockhart for a scrimmage Thursday Aug. 20.

Lady Leps Sweep Weimar In Volleyball Season Opener

New La Grange volleyball coach Rhonda Bloodworth got her first win as a Lady Lep Tuesday against the Weimar program she got her coaching
start with 21 years ago. The La Grange girls struggled a little in the first set, but bounced back in a big way and ended up sweeping Weimar
28-26, 25-5, 25-15 in front of a large home crowd.

La Grange High School football teams will host El Campo in scrimmages this Friday at Leopard Stadium. The freshman start at 5 p.m. followed by the

Leps Look Sharp in Popsicle Bowl Scrimmage

As the La Grange football players walked off the field Saturday after their intrasquad scrimmage, folks from HEB handed them popsicles – an annual tradition in what has been dubbed ‘The Popsicle Bowl’. In addition to the popsicles, lots of folks were handing out high-fives to the players, after what was a pretty sharp looking hour of action at Leopard Stadium.

Shorthorns Excited About 2015 Football Season

The Schulenburg Shorthorns donned helmets and shoulder pads for their first day of contact practice on Friday morning, August 7. By the looks of it, the Horns were ready for some hitting. Schulenburg went 2-8 last year and just missed the third playoff spot in their district, 2ADivision 1 District 15, after a loss to Ganado in the last game of the season.
