Funeral services for Ralph Wayne Kasper, 64 of La Grange, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Interment followed at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Warda. Visitation was held from 12 to 7 p.m.

Jerry Lynn Weir, 71, of Flatonia, died March 26, 2016, with his family at his bedside. Jerry was born April 21, 1944 in Gatesville, Texas, the son of Albert Cecil and Evelyn (Featherston) Weir. He graduated from Flatonia High School in 1963.

Edwin Orsak, 63, of Schulenburg, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home. He was born on June 29, 1952 to Edwin E. and Lillian Novak Orsak in Hallettsville. He married Lois Kubenka on Aug. 24, 1974 in Praha.

Lola Lorraine (McKinney) Gardiner, 54, of Hallettsville died Friday, March 18, 2016. Lola was born in Victoria on Feb. 15, 1962, the daughter of Otis McKinney and Barbara (Rainey) Laas. Lola enjoyed reading, fishing, crafting and attending family gatherings.

Charles Wayne Chamrad, 68, of La Grange, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at University Hospital in San Antonio. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 9 to 9:40 a.m. at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn.

Michael Adams, 39, of Ellinger, died Sunday, March 6, 2016. Michael was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on Sept. 13, 1976, the son of James Mallory and Connie (Chester) Pavlicek. Michael loved playing his guitar, riding motorcycles, fishing and was an excellent tattoo artist. He never knew a stranger.
