Dorothy “Dottie” Marie (Drab) Lyssy

Dorothy “Dottie” Marie (Drab) Lyssy, 79, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014. Dottie was born in Crosby on March 18, 1935, the daughter of Charles A. Drab and Tonie M. (Chovanec) Drab. Dorothy married Steve Lyssy on Dec. 29, 1984.
After graduating from high school, Dottie worked for Crosby State Bank. She then worked for Humble Refinery in Baytown
and Cibolo Manufacturing in Jourdanton. Dottie also owned and operated a feed store in Pleasanton. She is survived by her husband, Steve, of 29 years; two sons: Jamie Crockett of Baytown  and Charles “Chuck” Crockett of Pleasanton; daughter-in-law, Heather Crockett of Deer Park; grandson, Caleb Crockett of Deer Park; sister, Pat Sury of Fayetteville; brother, Charles Drab and wife, Sandy, of Dripping Springs; three nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death

Sustr Kocurek of Schulenburg; brother, Roger Sustr and wife Sheri of Schulenburg; niece, Rachel Sustr Carns and  husband Lee; nephews, Benjamin Sustr, Jared Kocurek and wife Emily, and Luke Sustr; niece, Ariel Kocurek Faith and husband Kris; great-nephews, Timothy Carns, Wyatt Carns and Colton Faith; and great-nieces, Madison Sustr, Georgia Carns and Olivia Faith. Linda W. August-Reyna, 66, of La Grange died Oct. 2, 2014. She was born on Aug. 2, 1948 to Johnnie Mae (McDuffie) and Wright Williams, Jr. in Meeks. She married David Reyna on Feb. 2, 2010 in La Grange. She was a member of First Baptist
Church in La Grange She is survived by her husband, David Reyna of La Grange; brothers, Mason Williams, Sr. and wife Vera of Houston and Billy Williams of LaGrange; sister, Gloria Anderson of Houston; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, one son, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in La Grange at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating.

Ila Sue (Ray) Barnett, 63, of New Ulm died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014. Sue was born in Farmington, N.M. on Feb. 1, 1951, the

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Ray, of Columbus; son, Gregory Thomas West and  wife, Robyn of Katy; three grandchildren: Graiden, Landon and Tanner West; two step-daughters: Melanie Barnett  Henriksen and husband, Kevin; Mitzi Barnett Miller and husband, Stuart, all of Little Rock, Ark.; three step -grandchildren: Jessica Henriksen, Hayden and Madison Miller; brother, Larry Ray of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, L.A. Ray; and husband, Ron Barnett.
