Elizabeth Kipp, Bernice Latimer, Mildred Kasper, and Mary Lehmann will be honored and asked to share with stories about living in Winchester from yesteryear.

Eddie and JoAnn Schneider hosted a New Year’s Eve meal for the Lunch Bunch as they bid farewell to 2014. Marceil and Neal Prestridge, Larry and  Glenda Herzog, Roger and Dorothy Loewe, and Marvin and Elizabeth Kipp dined on a roast
beef meal and several yummy desserts.

An Orange Candy Cake Christmas

Possibly because of my lack of enthusiasm for her fruit cakes, my Mother acquired a loaf cake recipe from Sara Oeltjen in the late 1960s that uses orange candy slices, instead of candied fruit. Now almost fifty years later, Mom still continues to crank out those delicious Orange Candy Cakes each and every Christmas holiday season!
